Days before the official enrollment schedule
opens, I had been notified that I am part of the
enrollment team this year. A group chat was
created, and I am to be the enrolment
coordinator for the incoming grade 11 under
the General Academic Strand. We were
informed on how we should execute our tasks
as enrollment coordinator in the gc. We were
also informed about the other members of the
enrollment and their designated tasks. I know
that these tasks are not going to be easy, but I
believe that with proper coordination and
perseverance, as the great William
Shakespeare said, “all’s well that ends well”.

Here, I check the list of names of
students who had answered in the link
provided, and sent to us in our email by
Sir Melbourne Lim, our Technical
Enrollment Coordinator
One by one I read each entry on the
list, and check on their messenger link
in order to make the first step in
validating their enrollment

“Gd am, this is Mam Jho Ramirez,
GAS enrollment coordinator from
Limay Senior High School.
Maki send ng clear picture ng PSA
at card. If wala pa yung card ,ok to
follow.
Then pag allowed ng pumunta sa
skul, need ipasa ng magulang o
guardian ang clear copy ng PSA mo
at original copy ng card mo nung
grade 10.
Ano nga pla section mo nung grade
10, nak?”

On the previous slide, is an example of
the message I sent to a student with a
working messenger link. Upon replying
I explained to him that an original copy
of his card and a clear photocopy of
his PSA should be submitted to the
school once WHEN WE ARE
ALLOWED to come, therefore, wait for
further noticed. As for now, no one is
allowed to go to school.

Another strategy I practiced is I type the complete name of the student when they happen to submit a blurred
photo of their documents, once validated, I ask them their section during their grade 10, and I jot it down on a
yellow paper beside me, this way it will be helpful for their future class adviser when the time to request their
Form 137 comes.

The last part to fulfill, is the report in the summary of enrollment, where in I copy and paste the name of
the student who had been validated, and also in the table of enrollees wherein the number of male or
female students enrolled for the day should be reflected.
12. 12
From the beginning, and up until the day is over, I make sure to maintain a good communication with
other focal persons in this enrollment activity, to ensure the smooth and correct flow of my tasks.
13. 13
Some students did not
include their messenger
link, or sometimes their
accounts were locked, so
I really tried my best
finding ways to be able to
communicate to them, I
sent them emails, or I
call them one by one .
14. 14
Just as I am doing this
presentation, a message
came telling me that I may
have sent a wrong chat.
This is another situation I
encounter when the
student did not write down
the correct messenger
link, however I still
manage to maintain a
good relation even to a
stranger from a far.

In the pictures are the
saved documents that
the student sent to me,
their PSA and photo of
their report card.
Sometimes it’s the
copy of their birth
certificate from the
municipal registry.
Despite the fact that
PSAs should be
submitted, we cannot
avoid accepting NSO
copies or Local Civil
Registry ones.
