Sanson Family Medicine, West Monroe, Louisiana August 2009 to May 2011

Transferred from the law firm to this medical practice to assist staff in the billing/coding section as
well as the day to day operation of the medical clinic. Duties included but not limited to
billing/coding, insurance appeals, medical records management, personal injury and workers'
compensation oversight, collections; oversee clinic HIPPA, OSHA and CLIA compliance; triage
patients, run moderate complex lab tests; supervised 15 employees; other duties required by the
physician.

Senior Pastor
Pastor of a congregation of approximately 75 members. During my time at this church, it transitioned
from a very traditional style of ministry to a relevant, missional work. I considered this ministry a
church “re-plant.” The former name of the church was Oak Grove Church of God. Currently it is the
only multicultural Church of God in the North Delta of Louisiana.
3. Lincoln Surgical Associates, APMC, Ruston, Louisiana April 2003 – August 2004
Practice Manager
New medical practice in Ruston, Louisiana with two physician with well over seven figures in
accounts receivable. Duties in the beginning was to assist in setting up the office, including setting
policy and procedure to setting computer and phone systems. Further duties included, but not
limited to, acted as compliance officer for the practice, oversaw the AR, Insurance verification,
collections, kept up with all Medicare and Medicaid rules and regulations as well as private insurance
fee schedules. Attended three surgical conferences totaling 24 credits of continuing education.
Topics covered were surgery practice management, CPT & ICD-9 coding. Working knowledge of
CPT and ICD-9, and of e-MDs Topsuite, an electronic record, billing and scheduling program
Proficient with XP, WordPerfect, Word, Works, Excel, Lotus, PowerPoint and various other types of
programs.
South Parkway Worship Center, Ruston, Louisiana April 2000 – March 2003
Assistant Pastor
Served as the Senior Pastor's "right hand." Monitored and oversaw various departments in the
