- 1. POWERPOINT FUNCTIONS (PowerPoint Views)
- 2. 1. Presentation – a collection of slides, handouts, speaker’s notes, and outline. 2. Slide – individual pages of your presentation, consists of text, title, graphs, drawn objects, shapes, clip art, and visual created using applications.
- 3. 3. Handouts – consist of smaller printed versions of slides. 4. Notes Page – this helps the speaker by serving as a guide while presenting the slides. 5. Outline – this shows you the structure of your presentation.
- 6. To Start PowerPoint 1. Clicking on Start menu. 2. Point to All Programs. 3. Click MS PowerPoint on the Programs menu.
- 7. PowerPoint Toolbars Standard Toolbar – where tools are displayed to help you work with your file like saving, printing, or starting a new presentation.
- 8. Formatting Toolbar – where basic formatting tools are displayed for easy access.
- 9. Drawing Toolbar – are not displayed as a default but can easily be added to your PowerPoint.
- 10. To add more tools to your toolbar, click on View >Toolbars> Customize . To do this, select an option and drag the command to a toolbar.
