2. 1. Presentation – a collection of slides, handouts, speaker’s notes, and outline. 2. Slide – individual pages of your presentation, consists of text, title, graphs, drawn objects, shapes, clip art, and visual created using applications.
3. 3. Handouts – consist of smaller printed versions of slides. 4. Notes Page – this helps the speaker by serving as a guide while presenting the slides. 5. Outline – this shows you the structure of your presentation.
6. To Start PowerPoint 1. Clicking on Start menu. 2. Point to All Programs. 3. Click MS PowerPoint on the Programs menu.
7. PowerPoint Toolbars Standard Toolbar – where tools are displayed to help you work with your file like saving, printing, or starting a new presentation.
8. Formatting Toolbar – where basic formatting tools are displayed for easy access.
9. Drawing Toolbar – are not displayed as a default but can easily be added to your PowerPoint.
10. To add more tools to your toolbar, click on View >Toolbars> Customize . To do this, select an option and drag the command to a toolbar.
