Danone – Dairy – Asia Pacific
8 Country Business Units representing over AU$ 700 million Net sales. Fresh dairy
products manufactured in Japan, Indonesia, Australia, China, South Korea,
Thailand, India and Bangladesh.
Wide scope of work with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation and
Environment, in both Manufacturing and Logistics. Working as a coach, recruiting
and developing the local talents to build a sustainable continuous improvement
system. Development of the regional network to promote the local initiatives
(Kaizen) shared as best practices during monthly calls or some training events
called Campus.
Step by step roll out the Danone performance management system called “Danone
Manufacturing Way”, founded on Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive
Maintenance concepts. Focus on KPIs reporting and tools such as Visual Board
Meetings, Zoning, SMED, Autonomous Maintenance to develop the ownership and
accountability of the manufacturing operators on the shop floor.
Internal Safety auditor able to assess the safety culture of any sites, and build with
the local teams their Safety Roadmap toward “zero accident”, with a major focus on
Safety standards and behaviours.

affordability and compliance to Danone standards (Safety, Quality…). Mentoring of
a team of local engineers in civil work, process, packaging and services. Project
management according to Danone phase gate methodology with vertical start up.
Japan (Tokyo): Au$ 10 million brown field project. Additional process / filling /
packing / utilities capacity to produce 20 ktons/year of stirred bifidus yogurt.
China (Beijing): Au$ 10 million brown field project. Additional process / filling /
packing / utilities / waste water capacity to produce 20 ktons/year of stirred yogurt.
China (Shanghai) Au$ 32 million green field project. Brand new plant to
manufacture 40 ktons/year of stirred and drinkable yogurt.
Indonesia (Jakarta) Au$ 15 million brown field project. Additional process / filling /
packing / utilities capacity to produce 10 ktons/year of long shelf life flavoured milk.

Danone – Early Life Nutrition - France
Workshop with 3 preparation / sterilization lines producing 50 ktons/year. Direct
management of 25 operators in a complex social environment. Food Safety
upgrading of the process workshop and implementation of a reliability program
supported by new Preventative and Autonomous Maintenance plans.
Milk loss rate reduced by half in 3 years / HACCP used as a decision tool.
