2.
Chai Lifeline Canada, a registered Canadian
charity, provides a variety of programs and
support services to families with a terminally
ill child. Jeremy Diamond, a Toronto-based
lawyer, serves on the board of directors for
the organization. With a mission to help ease
the strain on family life during times of
childhood sickness, Chai Lifeline board
members such as lawyer Jeremy Diamond
and Toronto-area volunteers focus on offering
family-friendly activities such as retreats,
summer camps, tutoring programs for
children, and counseling services.
3.
Many medical professionals and counselors
have publicly supported the Chai Lifeline
organization because of the essential relief
services it provides parents and siblings of
terminally ill children. Organized family
outings to cultural and sports events, along
with winter and summer retreats, are popular
activities offered by the organization. In
addition to providing case workers,
counselors, and family retreats, the
organization supplies financial assistance.
