Subject: Letter of Recommendation
To Whom It May Concern:
The purpose of this letter is to provide documentation as to the accomplishments and contributions of Jenny
Wang during the period of her employment.
Jenny Wang worked for me for the past 3 years, serving first as Senior Supply Chain Analyst and was later
promoted to Supply Chain Manager.
Her accomplishments in transforming Molecular Blo Products from an entrepreneurial, small business, to a
successful Thermo Fisher Scientific Corporate entity, has been astounding.
Her duties included managing the finished goods planning and purchasing functions for three different sites
in the United States and Mexico. Ms Wang has attended to these duties with dedication, professionalism
and attention to detail not seen in any of her peers. Accomplishments include, but are not limited to the
following.
• Improved customer on time delivery from 60% to 95%.
• Transformed the Planning Dept. into a professional operation, resulting in reducing
inventory from $12MM to <$1 0MM.
• Reduced Excess and Obsolete inventory by >$1 .4MM.
• Consolidated two manufacturing operations into one facility.
• Consolidated two sister distribution businesses into a single distribution center.
• Organized two marginally functional purchasing operations into a single cohesive unit.
Jenny is intelligent, well educated and experienced in all aspects of the supply chain. She is dependable,
honest and delivers excellent results for any task assigned.
Jenny has been my most trusted manager and was the “go to” person for our MRP system. She has
completed and exceeded my expectations on each task and assignment.
I regret Jenny’s decision to leave our company to seek another growth opportunity, but I understand her
decision. I would seek Jenny as an employee at any future opportunity.
