Purpose
-It will inform people about the festivals that are
coming up
-It will also educate people who read the magazine
as their will be information on
-My magazine entertains people as their would be
entertaining articles and interesting pictures
-Festivals in Hertfordshire are advertised in my
magazine as all information on the festivals are in
the magazine
Statement of needs
-My magazine is different as an interactive
online version would be upload on our
website and this is good as my magazine is
better as they can interact with the magazine
and have more of a choose on what they
want to read.
Competition
-Magazines like Hertfordshire Life, FestWorld,
BBC music would be my biggest competitors
as they all provide information about Festivals
or even music in there magazine. This is good
as it makes mine more unique than others so
there's a better reason for buying mine.
-The theme of my magazine is on
festivals/music
-My magazine would be around 50 pages so
25 double pages of just music festivals.
-My magazine would be sold for £4.99
per issue at shops and when on sale.
Online i would have subscription, 6
months for
-6 issues for £22.99 for just a digital
copy or just a print copy,
-12 months for 12 issues for £54.99 for
both digital and print copy.

on it.
-InDesign -Photoshop -illustrator
-graphic designer-writer-editor- fact-

-Production is the actual shoot. Pre-
production happens after the shooting is
complete. All of this above would have to
be done in the pre-production process and
then submitted into the final product once
completed.

marketing
I plan to market and distribute my
magazines so it's more likely to reach my
first and second target audience. Some
examples of the ways I'm going to market
my product and distribute it is in the
following information:
-social media
- through shops, colleges and universities,
venues
-In store purchasing
-Subscriptions
Product Company
I'm the best choice of magazine in the industry as I offer a lot more content and
information for much less money. No other magazine in the UK covers just festivals in
detail, they cover the whole of music, for example genres, artists etc. This could benefit
you as you might find a festival or concert that you have never heard off and its quite
close to you and end up enjoying it, you could do this with my magazine.
Conclusion
In conclusion, I think my magazine is most suitable for
people who like music festivals in the UK as it covers a
lot of detailed information which has to been known by
the customer if they want to go. As well as this, my
colour scheme is the perfect colours and appropriate for
music festivals that are being advertised in my
magazine. Another thing is how cheap my product is, it
gives you the best value for your money than any other
music magazine in the UK, as well as doing digital
copies and paper copies being sold online and in stores/
shops local.
