- 49. www.bcscw.org 2016 Board Elections Each Director shall hold office for a two-year term with approximately 1/2 of the Directors elected each year in staggered terms. Maximum 11 Board Members. Each member attending the Annual Meeting for election of the Board of Directors is eligible to cast one vote. The candidates receiving the highest number of votes up to the number of directors to be elected shall be elected. Five seats are open this year!

- Fair Labor Standards Act – covers hourly wage workers. ACA changed FLSA in 2010 to include break time for nursing moms. Moms punching out for pumping time are losing FT benefits. Introduced in January 2016 by Representative Lisa Subeck, Representative Joan Ballweg, and Senator Julie Lassa and received in a public hearing in the Committee on Labor Strong bi-partisan support Subeck plans to re-introduce the bill during the next legislative session
