Jobs and Steve Wozinak, his old highschool friend, known as the co-founder, which began in 1976.
Their small shop was located in California, where they worked on revolutionizing technology, by
building the world’s first user-friendly computer. This came out to be a big success and they had

hire a new management team, where they introduced the first ever apple computer known as the
iMac. Yet again this product was marvelous and caught the attention of many consumers once

4. Jobs has made astonishing new
inventions, his im has always been about perfection. He quotes
“Be a yardstick of quality. Some
people aren't used to an environment where excellence is
expected”, (Boogard). These uplifting
quotes and mindsets excelled his company and raised the
expectations for his employees and they
were able to learn and adapt to it. He chose to listen to himself
and make decisions alone, while still
taking his employees decisions into consideration. He believed
it would benefit the company more.
Communication is a key factor for Steve Jobs to manufacture
and introduce successful products
and receive feedback from their users/customers and improve on
them with a business meeting.
Steve Job's management were very closely related to the
*followed the Teams of organizations*, in
which hands are held together around a common goal to achieve
and reach beyond an expectation.
This allows more income and attention to the partnership
companies and allows them to excel in
their specific business. Steve Jobs had teamed up with many
companies that developed specific
computer components such as NeXT, which specialize in
5. making a software and hardware
platform, merged in February 7, 1997. The products that are
made with an outsource
(partnership), allows companies to build stronger and wealthier
bonds, with minimal excessive use
of material.
Steve Jobs was a very distinctive and inclusive role model to his
company. Throughout the great
success of his company, he had new people join the
management and gave them a chance to teach
him his leadership ways. He started off as a relationship-
oriented leader because trust was low, he
was experimenting with their ways of working on tasks and he
expected an high demand to build
off a stronger relationship. Later on, as he got comfortable with
his team and built a stronger
3
relationship he attained the task-oriented leader,
where the task and trust is high and earlier to
complete. Looking at leadership models he had
acquired the Hersey blanchard leadership model.
6. His team played out the role of introducing a
product by participating and sharing ideas,
creating problems and selling solutions to it. He
gave instructions on how to introduce and make
the product in order to gain public viewership. He
was also very Delegating on his products, because
of his early successful products and the team he
worked with. The selling and telling factors were the high
guidance required by the team. We can
tell Apple has a unique way to launch their new products and
gain the audience eye span, with new
and improved features. His use of quality over quantity, on all
of his products really gained his
customers trust and made it easier to sell products more
effectively. Using this model he was very
communicative with his employees and allowed them to let him
explore their next innovation,
which made it more enjoyable and effective for the company.
This consists of task structure,
Authority system and work groups. Steve Jobs was very task-
oriented.
7. The task he used to assign to his management, had made their
first priority to complete them. He
assigned each task to be completed
in small work groups, these were
more effective and fun for his
management to do and complete.
He used authority over his
employees and guided them to
complete their task, this led to
effective leadership. He took
authority over everyone in order
for them to be successful with the provided guidelines. This is a
simple 3 step theory that implies
Steve Jobs leadership skills. Firstly, he talks about perfection
and working hard which is known as
effort. Secondly he talks about the production and its use which
is known as the performance of
the work. Lastly, he talks about the rewards which are selling
the product and revving service
4
8. satisfaction, this attracts more customer traffic and revenue to
the company. Although many
companies are successful and very task oriented, he had a mix
of both relationships and
task-orientation, which lead to a fast leverage to success. What
can we do with this information?,
we can start to improvise his skills in our workplace or even on
an upcoming business. We can use
these as guides to have a successful business and
relationship with employees and customers.
