General Information and Facts
• The Province spreads over an area of 347,190 Sq, Kms., forming 43.6 per cent of the total area of Pakistan. Population is
Clustered.
• Total Road Network is 20655.619 Kms (2098.03 Kms - Black Topped, 18557.589 Shingle Road)
• The Roads were not being Maintained properly and Road Maintenance Funds approximately Rs. 60.000 Million to Rs. 70.000
Million were being spent in a very ill Planned and unsystematic manner and a Major Part of the Funds were being Misused /
Embezzled. (as per Govt of Balochistan) SO DON’T EXPECT ANYTHING FROM GOVT OF BALOCHISTAN
• Estimated Construction of Black Topped Roads, the Cost Per Kilometer of Road is Maximum Rs. 4.000 Million per Kilometer to
Minimum Rs. 1.680 Million per Kilometer, adopting Technically Sound Design / Economical Specification, without Compromising
on the Quality of Work. (as per Govt of Balochistan)
• Toll on Bridges are required by Governmentt Of Balochistan, and the Roads are NOT ALL WEATHER Roads
• Communication and Works Department have Rest Houses, source of Revenue for them, Unfortunately it’s a Liability We
Can USE IT, as If WE are constructing a Road from Reko Diq To Gwadar port
• Estimated Cost of Construction of Black Topped Road from Reko Diq to Panjgoor (400 Kms) to be constructed in Rs 300 Million.
• As per Labor Law of Balochistan, there should be minimum 70% Locals including Domicile Holders should be Employed
