Pablo Picasso was born in Málaga, Spain in 1881 to an artist father who gave him art lessons. When he was 10 years old, he moved to A Coruña. He later lived in several major cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris. Picasso painted over 1,500 pictures in different styles throughout his career, inventing cubism, and created paintings about peace like Guernica to express his dislike of war.
