Streamlined mission-critical business processes and developed decision support solutions for a telemarketing lead
generation engine that, at its peak, distributed 20 million leads each month to 15 U.S. calling centers. Delivered
comprehensive analytic access to a multi-terabyte, 120-million household prospect data warehouse by developing
over a dozen data mart projects on the MicroStrategy BI platform.
• Performed all functional life-cycle activities in implementing each Microstrategy analytic mart: published
functional requirements; built all Schema and Public objects, including most production reports; project-
managed all mart development milestones; conducted individual and classroom end-user training; published
detailed project documentation.
3. • Initiated and project-managed a proof-of-concept effort to demonstrate how MCI’s telemarketing campaign
management and lead generation could be conducted on Microstrategy BI platform. Defined over 900
telemarketing campaign profiles and all underlying segmentation rules using Microstrategy Desktop filter
objects. Leveraged the product’s extraction capabilities to execute lead-generation. The migration of these
functions from an in-house application reduced man-hours and the production cycle by 50%, and had
significant impact on segmentation accuracy, analytic and reporting power and market responsiveness.
• Developed an automated prospect inventory reporting and audit system, providing the campaign management
team with unprecedented report availability and data insight. Designed a highly optimized mart architecture
using data aggregation, partitioning, report caching, ETL transformations and table write-backs. Proposed
and delivered on an aggressive service level agreement for query responsiveness, guaranteeing results in
minutes for even the most complex queries.
• Built thousands of MicroStrategy Schema, Public and Configuration objects since the release of Version 8.
Performed user and license administration, production support, problem tracking and resolution of all mart
and application issues to a group of 30 power users. Designed and managed an internal reporting web site.
• Designed a lookup table database, delivering robust, accurate metadata in the form of element descriptions
and rollups for hundreds of mart attributes. Audit scripts and user-alerts ensured all tables were kept
current. Used table views to a centralized database to ensure consistency across all marts. Built dozens of
new lookup tables. Defined many new element rollup categories, permitting even more powerful reporting
and analytic capabilities to the user community.

affinity data for six new emerging-market calling campaigns. Contributed to a 50% increase in year-end net sales
