Jay Shaw is a Partner at Forensic Advisory Services and heads their litigation support practice in New Zealand. He is a Chartered Accountant with 20 years experience in the accounting profession and 15 years’ business valuation and forensic accounting experience. Mr Shaw has undertaken more than 300 business, share, and intangible asset valuations, ranging from small privately owned companies to listed companies. Many of these valuations were prepared for commercial purposes including M&A, accounting, taxation, fairness and restructuring purposes. While he is involved in valuing businesses at all life cycle stages, he has a particular interest in valuing intellectual property, intangib.
