blessed to be born in the other side of poverty
You can see poverty in every corner
kids asking for money
children with no shoes or food
has changed my perspective of life
growing and seeing it every day caused a huge impact in my life
I was concerned with the actual situation that the majority of the society was facing
Seeing poverty from another perspective made me feel like I had to help
I had to sit down and actually figure out a plan
I needed make a change in my country
People needed the basics food, water, schools, clothes and shoes
I just knew in my heart I could be someone that would make a movement in order to help this people
My name is Jatna Penzo
My professional career started with a simple question how can I make a difference?
My first step was moving to orlando, this was a huge change for me
I come from a Spanish speaking country,language and culture were some of the challenges I had to face
I became an international event and wedding planner by the age of 19
When I turned 20 I was already an International event and wedding planner
This was my first step to success
I have over four years of experience in the wedding industry
I have planned and managed over 150 wedding in my short career
I have also planned over 40 corporate events in orlando florida
5 charity events in the US/ 15 in the DR
Seeking for the business aspect of the industry
my goal is to return to the DR
this are multi millionaire companies in the DR, partnering with them would help me have an economical support for charity events.
Feeding Children Everywhere is a non profit organization that helps pack meals for children all over the world. They are willing to go to the Dominican Republic.
You always need an extra pair of hands to help
families are a great example because they set an example to their own kids
By creating charitable events, we are able to attract people to the cause and also raise awareness and profit.

or just a smile
helping this children just make me feel in a way that no word can ever describe it
I would like to invite you to feel the same way
I would love to rejoin my own family that I haven’t seen in a long time
In some point become an executive
and expand this moment to all those countries in the caribbean suffering like the dominican republic
My definition of success is to be a role model for all those around me. Also, the day I have my own family I would like to be a role model for my kids and hope they follow my steps trying to help those that need it.
