with them to bring their dream business Holy Schnitzels to
life in an eye-catching brand and web design.
They required a logo, van design, website, social media
graphics and stationery.
– Designed corporate identity and write brand guidelines.
– Used red and white, to reflect the colours in the Austrian
flag, set on a dark grey background to give a distinctive
and striking design.
– Illustration of mountains to reflect Austrian theme.
– Designed van and produced artwork for signwriters,
including menu iconography.

Graphic & User Experience Design
gDoc, a digital document technology software company,
required an updated website design.
– New branding and colours for the three gDoc products
and distinctive graphics for each, for use on website as
banners, plus across other media, e.g. brochures and
splash screens.
– Illustrations and Photoshop files for the graphics were
created and build files supplied to web developer.

corporate Powerpoint presentation with animations.
– Designed slides using their corporate colour teal and
chose an accent colour of coral to add impact.
– Kept text to a minimum and used bold graphic shapes
to hold the attention of the audience.

10. The Qualcomm Museum App
Lead Visual Design & Lead User Experience
Design
The Qualcomm Museum in San Diego required an app for
tablet and mobile, to give detailed information about
exhibits to visitors.
A proximity beacon technology was used in the app, to
determine the location of each user when they were at the
museum, and automatically show them information
targeted to what they’re looking at.
– Interaction and visual design for an app with a ‘clickable’
timeline to show the 3 periods in time: 1985-1999
(History), 2000-2010 (Now) and 2011-2013 (Future).
– Dates in timeline to relate to ‘zones’ in the museum
where proximity beacons are placed. Position of user
shown with a ‘pin’ on timeline and list in menu above it.
– For each selected date(s) show more in-depth
information, videos and audio about the exhibits.
– ‘Tour On’/’Tour Off’ toggle button allows user to choose
whether to use proximity technology to show relevant
information, or to manually select it using timeline.
– The app can be used remotely with full functionality
apart from the proximity feature.
Worked on interaction design, visual design and final build
graphics for all devices.
Worked with software developers to ensure build matched

Visual Design & User Experience Design
Worked in a team of 3 people. A patent was awarded for
our idea – ‘Systems and Methods for Discovery of Related
Content in a Mobile Application Store Environment’.
The application relates generally to mobile application
stores, and more particularly to deriving content
recommendations from mobile application store offerings.
When a user purchases applications from an on-line app
store it would be desirable to have a mechanism for
tailoring content recommendations to that particular user.
– Created animated mobile demo to show a method of
retracing a user’s navigation journey through content.
– Brainstorming meetings.
– Visual design, build graphics, animation story board.
– Worked with developer to produce working demo.

Epidaurus App
Lead Visual Design & Lead User Experience
Design
Epidaurus is an Android app for use in conferences.
It allows a member of the audience (participant) to submit
a question via their mobile instead of putting up their hand
and waiting for a microphone to be brought to them. If the
participant’s question is chosen (by a moderator), they’re
alerted on their mobile via the Epidaurus app. They then
talk directly into the phone microphone.
– Interaction design/wireframes for a intuitive app with
straightforward user journey.
– Visual design and polished build graphics.
