Assisted HMH with Cerner Nursing Documentation Application support during the optimization phase.
Worked directly with nurses and other clinicians to provide training and to support the design, build, implementation and
testing of optimized applications. Participated in Integration test script analysis, revision and testing during a new code
upgrade. Coordinated the review and design conference calls with Software Company Cerner for the Lighthouse Meaningful
Use, Sepsis & VTE Advisor/Readmission Assessment application and Quality Measures v4.4 upgrades. Analyzed the new
Cerner NHIQM Core measures release notes v5.0 documentation for HMH handoff knowledge transfer. Completed domain
strategy Cerner Certification Guideline testing related to the Core Measures. Prepared a Turnover document of Nursing

Submitted the request and received approval to have the HMH Hospital become a designated Cerner Validation site to receive

three states, California, Washington and Oregon. Validate build to corporate standards and worked closely with other IT
teams to resolve issues. The hospital sites/specific units (Firstnet/ED, Rehab (PT/OT/ST/RT), MedSurg nursing units etc.
would send in their current paper documentation to my design team for review. During the Design calls all of the reps
would review all of the documents for that call and vote on a finalized build design. Then I would take the finalized design
decisions and in the Cerner software tools would build out those ERM documents. Then I would have site validation of that
new electronic build of their documents. The sites review what I built and if any revisions needed to be done, I would
revise and revamp the build, they would re-review it again and then I and would implement/roll out the finial product to the
Live Production domain. This is implementing the design builds as a Golive, the entire workflow from beginning to the end
that I have participated in.
