▪ MANHATTAN DAY SCHOOL, 310 West 75th Street — Full-time United States History and
playwriting teacher for 6th-through-8th grade students. Directed student-written, fact-
based history plays on ancient world cultures. Created curriculum: "The Museum of
Mystery History." Student tours and information gathering “scavenger hunts” through

instruction including "Romeo and Juliet" and 9th grade student plays within that play.

grade students. “Do Angels Take the Cross-Town Bus?” – student-written play
performed in school theatre at year’s end.

Provided assistance in directing toy commercials for television.

children in Long Island University’s summer program "Kids On Campus."
Shelter Island, New York — 1991 to 1995
Four-time New York State Council on the Arts grant recipient. Established the nonprofit
Children's Mystery Theatre.
Artistic Director and founder of Discovery Children's Theatre assisted by grants from
NYSCA, NYFA, NEA, AmeriCorps. Fifty-two plays written by students performed in
fourteen states. Seventeen students current members of SAG-AFTRA and/or DGA.
