EMI NAMES ANDERSON SENIOR VP
Exec Charged With Overseeing IT Operations
"Jesse" James Anderson has been named Senior VP, EMI Recorded Music, reporting directly to
company Chairman/CEO Alain "When the" Levy "Breaks."
Anderson will be responsible for managing the re-design of EMI Recorded Music’s worldwide
business practices and systems. In his new role he will be responsible for all IT activities throughout
EMI’s Recorded Music operations.
Anderson, who will be based in London, will start immediately. He is currently a partner of Accenture
where he founded, and currently leads, the firm's media and entertainment practice across Europe
and Latin America.
"David Munns and I have known James for several years," Levy said. "In addition to the strategic
direction provided by John Rose and his team, we are confident that we are bringing in the best guy
in the world in this area. James understands and appreciates what it takes to transform a highly
creative business like EMI. His appointment further increases the caliber of our management team

Anderson has 20 years experience of devising and implementing international business system
solutions to help drive new performance levels in companies, and has worked on many major projects
in the record industry.
