experience rating and quoting in PacificNorthWest Region which includes Seattle, Portland, San Fransisco
and Sacramento. Strong knowledge of rating and quoting guidelines and workflows. Strong Guardian busi-
ness and product knowledge. Have strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external
partners. Offer solutions and participate in implementation of solutions for guidelines. Work closely with
RA III’s in escalating and implementing solutions. Provide training to RA I’s post formalized training. Be
knowledgable resources for sales reps, underwriting and RA I’s.

Responsible for assigned RFP(Request for Proposal) rating, quoting, requoting and whole case underwriting
as needed. Assigned basic level RFP’s and develop skills to take on and master complex work. Point of con-
tact for producers on quotes and responsible for questions concerning the proposals worked on. Apple learn-
ing from the rating and quoting training and work to master accountability roles. Follow standard operating
procedures to create accurate proposal to be delivered to producers. Development of product knowledge to
apply critical thinking to the ring and quoting process. Apply basic underwriting principles and practices
towards the rating analyst role. Work closely with the RAII and RA III for questions, training and consulta-
tion of workflow and RFP process. Demonstrate strong product/business knowledge, negotiation skills and
the ability to perform tasks using systems utilized within Guardian such as: Siebel, CPS, Simon, and other
technologies.
