Jacquie Jones is a Peabody Award-winning writer, director and producer of documentary films. Her credits include the 180 Days series, Africans in America and Matters of Race for PBS and From Behind Closed Doors: Sex in the 20th Century for Showtime. She has executive produced several installments of award-winning series, such as Independent Lens, Frontline and POV, as well as serving as executive producer of 7 seasons of “AfroPop: The Ultimate Cultural Exchange.” She has also created media for important museum collections, including the National Civil Rights Museum and the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture.
