against his back.
He sits down at his desk and the class begins. He pulls out
a notepad and pen from his backpack.
The teacher points to the projection on the wall: A mosquito
exiting is egg.
Mark begins to draw the Mosquito as it exits its egg.
INT. CONFERENCE ROOM - DAY
John, (30s) a salesman in a conference room, is drawing on
his own pad of paper a smaller, more discreet version of the
same mosquito.

ALLEN lies with his girlfriend, MARIA, in bed. Heâs
shirtless and strokes her shoulder as they lay.
ALLEN
Youâre skin is so soft. Its

MARIA

ALLEN
Something wrong?
MARIA
No, just thinking.
ALLEN
About?
MARIA
Well..us. What weâre doing...Where
weâre going. Whether or not its all

He puts the sandwich down and begins to to respond.
TEXTING BACK: SURE THING, WHERE YOU AT?
INT. CLUB - NIGHT
Mark enters the club. His hair slicked back. He looks
somewhat nervous as he enters the crowd. As Mark moves into
the crowd, John passes by, drinks in hand. He moves to a
nearby booth where three women sit, talking. He drops down
the drinks and takes a seat beside them.
EVELYN
John, what took you so long. Mary
gave her lifeâs story while you
were away.
MARY
Oh, shut up.
JOHN
Fricken bartenderâs a jerk. Heâs
like dragging his feet back there.
JOAN
Makes a killer drink though.
They all sip. Mary looks over in Markâs direction. He
wanders aimlessly looking around for somebody. He is
obviously a little lost. Mary gets up.

turns away.
He looks at his phone. IT READS: WHERE ARE YOU? From him. No
response.
He sits down at the bar and begins to vie for the
bartenderâs attention. The bartender is focused on other
things.
He scratches his head, stressed. Mary plops her things next
to him. He looks up, surprised. John looks ahead toward the
bartender.
JOHN
(whispering to Mary)
Work your magic.
Mark overhears his voice and is taken off guard. It sounds a
lot like him. But it was too quiet to be sure.
MARY
Oh, bartender!
She waves her hand like she is the only one in the room. The
bartender sighs and walks over to her.
MARY
My drinks a little weak, can you
give it a little bump for me?
She pouts her lip a bit.

hook my friend up with a drink? He
turns 21 today and heâs been
waiting for a while.
BARTENDER
(To Mark)
Let me see your license.
Skeptical, Mark reaches into his pocket. He shoots Mary a
look.
MARK
Its not really my birthday, she was
just trying to get you to notice
me.
BARTENDER
(Facetious)
Thatâs really sweet. Whatâre you
drinking.
The bartender looks intently at the ID. John waits patiently
by, off-put by the similarity in his and Markâs voice.
MARK

Allen sits at the computer desk, sipping his coffee.
He scrolls through Facebook news articles and stops on one
about the life and death of Ron Proctor. He takes another
sip, leaning closer into the article.
The Article Reads (with a picture of Ron Proctor):

My mind has been freed from past

time, I noticed something that
struck me to my core.
PAUL
Hey there.
RON PROCTOR (V.O) CONT.
We had the same voice, the same
tonality and cadence in our speech.
Both alarmed by this, we spoke
more- learning of the others past
and life. Paul told me of his
family, a son named Bob and his
Wife Andra. They were a small,
happy family. Paul had never once
had any trauma in his life. Both
his parents were still alive, and
he had brothers and sisters that
lived in the nearby mountains whom
he visited frequently. He was happy
man, yet he carried a heavy burden.
He told me of this unending sense
of dread he feels. This feeling of
loss that he had never experienced.
The feeling of a loved one whom he
had never known.
ALLEN (V.O)
Ron had concluded, through many
tests and writings that he and Paul
shared the same soul, were
inherently the same person spread
between two bodies. Of course his
writings were not taken seriously
by the scientific community but he
remains today a cult legend that
still mystifies the spiritual world
today. Can two people really share
the same soul? What would happen if
you met someone who spoke the same
as you, shared the same thoughts?
What kind of implications would
this have about life and the
afterlife? Keep your eyes, ears and
hearts open. You never know if you
just might bump into another you.
Allen stares at the screen. Intrigued.

report card. Heâs flunking out of everything.
He tears it up and throws it in the garburator.
INT. ALLENâS APARTMENT - DAY
ALLEN watches intently a video showing Ron Proctor giving a
lecture about the concept of Mirror Minds. The video
inter-cuts from super 8 style shots of himself sitting at a
desk and text subjects in an empty, white room.
RON PROCTOR
I havenât seen anything so amazing
as I did today. The man and woman,
though separate in age and gender,

singular consciousness. Astounding.
