I am a certified Occupational Hygienist with 24 years’ experience in Occupational Hygiene, Occupational Health and Management within the Department of Defense (Approved as an Approved Inspection Authority), the Private Sector and the Gauteng Provincial Department of Health and Social Development. In my career (of 18 years) and involvement within the South African Military Health Services and the South African National Defense Force since my appointment in 1993, I was involved in the development, establishment, integration, and implementation of Occupational Health and Hygiene Services within the South African National Defense Force.
