To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing to provide recommendation for Jaclyn Chuah. I have had the opportunity to have Jaclyn in several of
my classes and also to observe her in a variety of campus activities. Jaclyn is a very creative, organized, and
dedicated student. I believe that the skills Jaclyn has demonstrated in her time at Southern New Hampshire
University will translate well into her professional goals. Key components that I see to her future career success
are communication, initiative, time management, and passion.
In order to succeed in and on the job one has to be able to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and
customers. Jaclyn is an excellent communicator. She participated in Undergraduate Research Day and presented a
paper on “Workplace Diversity” in front of faculty and administrators. In addition, her paper was selected by the
National Conference for Undergraduate Research for presentation this coming spring. Jaclyn is very personable
and outgoing and I am confident will achieve her career goals while maintaining excellent relationships.
I think that Jaclyn will also bring a lot of creativity and initiative to her future employer. She is very good at
accessing the big picture and examining various elements of a plan to make sure all of the pieces work and fit
together. In her position as vice president for the International Business Association she has successfully overseen
several campus events and consistently ensures that the student body is fully aware of these opportunities. Jaclyn
truly strives to take things to the next level and her willingness to make a difference on campus is highly
respected.
The other key elements that Jaclyn has exhibited are time management and passion for work. Jaclyn is extremely
organized. She is able to successfully handle a challenging course load and remains particularly active in campus
activities and also volunteering in the community. When Jaclyn sets a goal for herself for something she believes
in she puts 110% of herself into it. When she was enrolled in my courses she consistently exceeded my
expectations, was always engaged in class discussions, and supported other students.
I feel honored to have had Jaclyn as a student and am fully confident that she will have a successful future in
whatever she does. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions: 603-626-9100 ext. 2008 or
