Environment Survey
Fort Drum MEDDAC is currently exploring options for environmentally friendly ways of disposing ex-
cess/expired household medications. Building the right program requires some feedback from the
Fort Drum community. Please fill out this VERY SHORT survey via the link below (60 seconds or
less!) on your current concerns and disposal practices of prescriptions/over-the-counter medications.
Your input is anonymous and the data will be utilized towards providing the Fort Drum community

On Post Housing Regulation
Per the handbook for residents and the community managers for housing (Fort Drum) that snow accumu-
lation of 3 inches or more must be removed due to SAFETY. If residents do not remove the snow, they
will be fined. The community housing areas managers actually do inspections of yards and common areas
during winter WITH CAMERAS and take photos.
The fines are:
$50 for snow that is not removed from the driveway and walkways leading to the residences.
Each community center also has a listing of contractors who do snow removal on post AND they also have
a listing of "VOLUNTEERS FOR A FEE" that live in each housing area.
Here are few contractors who do on post snow removal (you must call for pricing):
