SUMMARY
This manual contains the basic rules of use of the new symbol, logo and corporate colors of
Air Europe. The aim is to set a common ground for the correct application of the elements
of corporate identity and establish a coherent style.
Glossary of terms:
Logo/Logotype
Representation of the name âAir Europaâ.
Symbol
Graphic symbol that aims to become the representation of the airline, even on its own.
Brand
Combination of logotype and Symbol.
Tagline
Phrase that summarizes the core values of the airline and sometimes accompanies the brand.

Depending on the occasion, different combinations of
the elements are possible: just logo, logo and tagline,
brand, brand with tagline, brand with tagline and
skyteam symbol, brand with skyteam symbol.
No other arrangement of the elements is correct.

Negative version of the brand upon a differnt background colors
When situated on backgrounds different from the corporate or complementary colors, the brand behaves
differently.
It has been seen that the logo in red does not stand out properly so the brand will be use in its negative version
(black or white) when the background is made of bright colors.

There are some wrong uses of the brand that need to be avoided.
Proportions between symbol, brand, tagline and skyteam logo, need to be exact.
The correct arragement of elements is: Symbol on the left, followed by logo in the center, tagline below the logo and
skyteam symbol on the right.

details but it becomes the main color on
transports (plane, bus and car) as a resource to
attract attention in large spaces such as the
airport.

The in-airport applications have two different
styles. Information points and check-in
machines combine a dark blue background
with white logo, tagline and symbol. Customer
service and check-in desks have the standard
combination of white background with red and
blue brand for immediate recognition.
