UNITED STATES ARMY
Operations and Training Manager, Fort Meade, Maryland 2014-2016
Managed and directed the staff activities of four sub-sections with a total of 25 personnel
charged with oversight of and planning for the day-to-day operations, security, and training of
13,000 Military Police distributed in installations throughout the United States.
Oversight and enforcement of security regulations and policy for the command.
Achieved the highest security and antiterrorism rating in the command’s history during
the 2016 Army Reserve Command antiterrorism inspection.
Drafted, staffed and published a comprehensive policy for emergency incident reporting
resulting in more timely and accurate reporting.

Trained over 140 junior executive candidates in a four-year higher education program. Led a
staff of educators and support staff of 8 personnel. Recruited new candidates from the region

place of training for over 70,000 personnel per year in numerous job categories for overseas

Applied Lean Six Sigma analysis to the process of assigning the date and location of

Developed the plan to reduce the agency footprint from six large training sites to four,

Security Manager, St. Paul, Minnesota 2003-2005 & 2006-2008
Managed physical and personnel security, and law enforcement for a large agency covering a
six state region with over 20,000 personnel and over 271 permanent facilities. Led a staff of
four full time and six part time law enforcement and security specialists. Managed a budget of
$1.5 million. Liaison with numerous subordinate and external agencies, to include federal and
state law enforcement agencies.
Planned and executed four security operations for high level executive conferences.
Monitored and analyzed world-wide terrorism and other threats related activity--
disseminated relevant information to subordinate units.
Developed “best practices” for law enforcement agencies across the six state region for
dealing with a radical group’s demonstrations at military funerals.
Director of Security and Emergency Services, Northern Kuwait 2005-2006
Managed a staff of 30 law enforcement officers and over 200 security officers at a remote desert
camp with law enforcement and security responsibilities for five desert camps housing up to
100,000 personnel from diverse US and international agencies. Managed access to these
camps for over 10,000 contractors on a daily basis. Coordinated all emergency services for the
five camps.
Created and led an emergency response exercise program.
Monitored and analyzed potential threats to US assets and personnel.
Drafted and published a comprehensive force protection plan for Northern Kuwait.
