POSITION OVERVIEW :
- Working as G.M. Technical and reporting to President (Works). Overall, total responsibility of production,
product quality, and of machine health.
- Labour utilization, waste control, machine utilization and of yarn recovery.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation of production plan as per market requirement.
- Making and implementation of systems, formats,, check lists, to ensure quality product as per company norms
with help of techniques such as 6 sigma Lean , 5s etc.
- To ensure implementation of maintenance schedules to keep machines healthy to give target productivity with
quality.
- To develop team related with production to give total productive maintenance. To develop subordinates as per
company requirements.
- Analyzing strength and weakness of all staff so that a training program may be framed to develop weak one
in some specific area.
- Framing new systems to make people accountable and those to come in records.
- To develop harmony and team work among all staff and to develop proper repo with staff and workers.

- Reduced maintenance cost by increasing life of components eliminating – premature failure and
aggravated deterioration improving maintenance practices and identifying design failures.

2- Reducing end breaks in PC ring spinning 4% to 2%, using latest QUALITY TOOLS - A SIX SIGMA BLACK
BELT PROJECT.
3- Reducing hard waste in ring frame and autoconer, using latest QUALITY TOOLS - A SIX SIGMA BLACK

Vendor Development / Materials Management
1- Spares Planning and developing vendors for timely procurement of spare parts to ensure smooth
Production operation and machine efficiency.
