Radnor Heights Substation:
 A Dominion Virginia Power (DVP)and Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) partnering project to install a new 3.7
mile 230kV high voltage transmission line and electrical substation on JBM-HH. Project was designed to increase the
reliability and redundancy for the installation and surrounding neighborhoods.

 Utility Regulatory Commission Approval: July 2010
 Historical Agencies Construction Approval: July 2011
 Ground Breaking: August 2011

The substation met rigorous standards for
noise control, visual screening, and
architectural compatibility on the historic
base.
