In which areas is JBC involved?
PCB assembly
In factories where electronic components are soldered on the PCBs, the assembly is done automatically,
but there are always certain components which have to be soldered or repaired manually.

How did we get here?
1st
stage (1929-1966)
Jaime Benet Campabadal
founded the company in Barcelona.
It manufactured soldering irons for
high-voltage terminals, and other
applications.

How did we get here?
2nd
stage (1966-1997)
Jaime Benet Canals
took over from his father.
Consolidation of the Senior
soldering iron range and development of
the Handpiece range.
Started to regulate tool temperature.
Soldering irons for electronics
meant a substantial change in the
sector and enabled JBC to enter foreign
markets (France, Italy, Germany, United
Kingdom).

3rd
stage (1997-2014)
Birth of the Advanced Series. With the new technology JBC entered the sector of professional
and industrial electronics.
Temperature control through the integrated
sensor in the soldering cartridge.
1999 Opening of JBC branch

2001 JBC headquarters moved
to Molins de Rei.
2013 JBC exported the American
business model to Mexico.
