The fact that „Grammy award
winner‟ is written before „the
new album‟ shows that he is
showing of having one, it also
shows that because he has a
Grammy his music will be at a
high standard.
The main image is a medium to
long shot of the artist dressed in
a black suit and tie with a black
hat. One of the songs
“champagne life” connects
with the clothes that the artist is
wearing as living the
champagne life symbolises
being rich and wealthy, this is all
juxtaposed by the background,
the artist is not in the centre of
the poster to show the
background on purpose. The
background could symbolise
where he came from which links
in with another track on the
poster “one in a million” this
could be the artist showing that
he is one in a million of the
people coming from the
„ghetto‟.
This album could appeal to
audiences of people that live
in the ghetto as it gives
people hope that there is a
way out of the modern day
slums they live in. The camera
angle of the artist is a low
angle shot, the artist is looking
down at the camera which
could show that he has
conquered the ghetto.

that it is their last album as
the words „after all‟ could
suggest that it is the end of a

The poster tells the audience
that the album includes the
single „robot rock‟ which is
juxtaposed by the album title
„human after all‟ as they both
contradict each other, one is
stressing to the audience that
they are really humans but the
other tells the audience that
they are not. The band name is
daft punk which suggests they
are not very smart, it also could
b why they contradict
themselves in the poster by
having an album name that
doesn‟t relate to the song title.

4. The main image is of the artist in a bright yellow field
which juxtaposes the artists name „danger field‟ as it
doesn‟t look like he is in any danger on a yellow field.
The album is called fly yellow moon which relates to
the picture as its yellow. The artist is wearing a black
suit and tie in the middle of a field which is odd. The
album release is 18th of January which is the middle of
winter, the main image is clearly in summer which
might be the reason he is releasing his album in the
middle of winter as people would want to hear/feel
the warmth of his album through the cold months.
The artist within the main image is on the left side of the page and the writing is on the right which shows
that it is an a3 advert. The artist is holding a camera while a photo is being taken of him which makes it
look like he is taking a picture of something, there is a smaller picture of him in the yellow field with the
camera at a low angle which would be him taking a picture of himself promoting his own album, which
could be the artist showing that he has done everything in the album without help (E.g. producing the
tracks & lyrics...) which is why he has showed himself taking a picture of himself as it shows that he
independent and has done everything.
