Jacqueline Loggins is currently an instructor at Jackson State University teaching Bachelor of
Social Work students at the School of Social Work. She has over 19 years of experience in the
Social Work arena empowering clients through a wide range of disciplines, including family,
child/adolescent, individual and or group adult therapy. She has provided regular ongoing
direct social work services to individual residents and their families. Her most recent position
as the Director of Programs with Methodist Children’s Homes afforded her the opportunity to
work on securing a safe place to live for at risk youth, a discussion she speaks passionately
about, since working nine years with male adult prisoners who often were denied the welfare
of family and a stable home. She has used her skills, knowledge and values in facilitating,
advocating, counseling, mentoring, volunteering and fostering healthy home/work
environments for clients as well as colleagues.
Jacqueline is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker earning a Bachelors of Social Work degree from
Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama, and her Masters Degree in Social Work
from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Her area of interest lies in the prevention
and violence intervention of children and families. She believes there is no greater platform in
life than the calling of educating others in the field of social work!
