Gears Operations Manager
Responsible for the safety, people, quality, cost and productivity on gears area, planning, developing,
communicating and supporting the execution of plans and strategies to continuously improve the overall
results of the area. Additional to support and train the direct and indirect personnel that the department has
in collaboration in order to maintain and increase the GMS culture.

Group Leader on 6 Speed Transmission Assembly Line (Jul 2014-May 2015)
Responsible to lead the human resources assigned to the 6 Speed Transmission Assembly Plant additional
to coordinate the different support departments, by promoting the GM values and purposes in order to fulfill
customer requirements within Quality, Quantity and Cost.
Responsible for implementation of a GMS culture and the incoming certification for BIQ level IV.
Customer Satisfaction Engineer & Warranty Engineer. (May 2010-Jun 2012 / Oct 2013 – Jun 2014)
Representative of the manufacturing plant to the different customers and GM organizations. Provide support,
and feedback to the issues and situations presented, responsible for the analysis, feedback and report of the
warranty for the transmission and components replace. Problem solving of customer claims and warranties.
Engineer for the Remanufacturing process on the 4L60 transmission, 6T70 Transmission
Developed remanufacturing process on the 4ET50 transmission (Chevrolet Volt Vehicle).
Special Assignment on Engine Gen-V Launch to retrofit Engines (Jun 2013-Sep 2013)
Responsible to implement retrofit on Engines Gen-V with issues by supplier and by manufacturing site over
launch process. Develop and assure procedures to reprocess, repair and teardown engines. Recognized
with the GM President’s Award Mexico on 2013 edition for capital savings on retrofit for the Gen-V Engine.
Quality Coordinator (Jul 2012-Sep 2013)
Quality Responsible for the 6T70 transmission and the 4ET50 Drive unit plants, (machining and assembly
lines). Main activities include maintenance of the Global Manufacturing System, resulting on 0 non-
conformity finding on October 2013 audit for ISO/TS16949 internal and external audits. Quality preventive
and corrective actions, provide feedback & support to the Manufacturing organization managing Quality
Engineers, Quality Auditors and sorting companies. Develop relationships with external entities, such as
suppliers, GM Engineering, GM Warren transmission plant, GM North America groups.
Quality Engineer (Nov 2007-May 2010)
Quality Engineer for the 4L60 transmission assembly line, support on problem solving, as well as the
maintenance of the quality system and implementation of different audits such as Process, Sediment,
Customer Used Features, Layered. And implementation of the reduction reject strategy “Common Cause”
which implemented First Time Acceptance from 95% to 99%
PPAP of transmission and torque converter, coordination of scrap reduction, support on control plans,
FMEA, standard work and problem solving to the transmission team.
