HISTORY
Solstis is an assembler, installer, designer and distributor of photovoltaic
systems. Its qualified employees and experienced network of partners allow it to
be broadly represented throughout Switzerland, France and Italy.
In 1996, Jacques Bonvin and Pascal Affolter, two researchers from the LESO (Solar
Energy and Building Physics Laboratory at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology -
EPFL), founded Solstis. The company has developed its expertise and earned its good
reputation by offering a variety of products and services including distributing fastening
systems for flat roofs, promoting green power, and research and development into
photovoltaic systems.
The Solstis team provides expertise and is always there for you. Its expertise is focused
on integrating systems into buildings design. The products offered feature the best
technologies currently available, both in terms of performance and quality.

Solstis has been winner of the prestigious Swiss and European Solar Prize in
2006, 2009, 2010, and 2011 and has constructed the largest solar installations in
Switzerland.
The company now has a total of 60 employees and over 100 partners in Europe.

Solstis has been offering turnkey installations since 2000. The appeal of its range of

French-speaking Switzerland.
In 2006, Solstis was awarded the first Swiss and European Solar Award for the
