- Here are the specific credits where windows and doors may possibly assist a project team to achieve their desired certification level. It should be noted that the underlined credits are “prerequisites” and therefore are mandatory requirements the project teams must meet. The thing to truly understand is that a window or door product by itself will not provide credit points. A product’s overall performance values or a certain Sustainable nature of the product can contribute value, but a majority of the credits shown are related to how the products are used in the design of the project. The following slides describe the possible merit for assistance to each of these credits.
