Friday 10th April 2015 – Arrival
Upon Arrival in Athens our representatives will greet you and escort you to the
Hotel.
Saturday 11st April, 2015 – Embarkation, Acropolis and Sightseeing
In the morning our Tour Guide will take you to the Acropolis for a walking tour
of the Parthenon ruins followed by an Athens city tour. In the afternoon we
drive to Piraeus port. There you will embark on the cruise ship, afterwards
there will be time to explore the common areas and rest in one of the decks to
enjoy a coffee or a snack. Let the Journey begin.

5. Sunday 12nd April, 2015 – At Sea

Monday 13rd April, 2015 – Alexandria, Egypt
Alexandria is a city on the Egyptian Coast. It combines a Mediterranean along
with a Middle eastern style. Alexandria has a rich culture and heritage that is
slightly different from the rest of the country. Alexandria gets her name from
its founder Alexander the Great. It was found in 331 BC and since then it has
been the capital of the Greco-Roman Empire. The city is characterized by the
Pharaohs, the lighthouse which symbolizes the status of the city, it was also
one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

6. Tuesday 14th April, 2015 – Port Said, Egypt

Visit to the Giza Pyramids. The Pyramids are tombs for the Kings of Egypt, it is
a true mechanical achievement of its time period and also one of the Seven
Wonders of the World.
Wednesday 15th April, 2015 – Ashdod, Israel
Today we are going to visit Jerusalem and Bethlehem the places where Jesus
was born and died and resurrected.
Thursday 16th April, 2015 – Ashdod, Israel
Your second day in Israel will have to do more with modern history. You will
visit Beersheba a strategic and brave victory in WWI. This battle took place on
31 October 1917. The Australian 4th Light Horse Brigade travelled 6 km to
overrun and capture the last remaining Ottoman trenches and also secure the
surviving wells at Birussebi.

addition enjoy shopping at Kusadasi.
Tuesday 21st April, 2015 – Dardanelles-Istanbul
Today we are Passing through the narrow strait of Dardanelles. It was the
reason behind the strategy of the invasion in Gallipoli. Later we head towards
Istanbul the city of two continents (Asia-Europe)

10. Thursday 23rd April, 2015 – Gallipoli

We enjoy the morning in Istanbul before we travel the rugged countryside
towards Gallipoli. We will visit the Lone Pine Cemetery and the beach at
Gallipoli before we re embark our ship which by that time will be anchored.

Out tour today includes a visit to mythological Troy and the Trojan horse

11. Saturday 25th April, 2015 – Gallipoli

Today you will participate in the Dawn & Lone Pine ceremonies to remember
those valiantly spent young lives. The planning of this very important day has
yet to be finalised by the Australian and Turkish governments. All confirmed
tour members will be advised promptly as and when specific details come to
hand. Commemorations will be broadcast on board.
Sunday 26th April, 2015 – Piraeus Disembarkation
Morning disembarkation in Piraeus. A coach will transfer you to Athens
International Airport to fly back home.
