PROBLEM AND ITS CAUSE…
 Major cause is that there is a huge gap between the teaching and practical
world . There is a need to bridge this gap.
 Poor teaching standards
 poor quality of education
 Primitive teaching and evaluation methods
 No avenues for experimentation
 Marks based education system
 Economic conditions also put hurdles in education of individuals.
 We are creating individuals not driven by their interests but by monetary
ambitions.
 As a result we are creating individuals not driven by their interests but by
monetary ambitions
Reasons for selecting a this cause
 Though there has been awareness about educating individuals but today it
cannot be ensured as an license for employment due to vast gap between
the bookish knowledge and the practical knowledge
 There is no job guarantee left today
 Though there is a huge competitive world as said but the scenario is very
different as there a wide rift between demand and supply
 Degrading state of Indian economy
 To Explore new avenues as to How an individual can withstand all odds to
land into a job of his choice.
 This problem is worsening day by day as no employability may drive the
youth in the wrong direction
 We are losing the students to depression and other societal ills
 Targeting this problem we can find solution to problems such as poverty,
terrorism , crime and many more….
Proposed solution
 Every student must get the benefit of free aptitude test which examines the
inclination of a individuals towards a particular field
 On the basis of it ,if the individual elects profession of his choice there
will be no problem of employability as he/she would definitely excel in it.
 Special workshops should be organized to impart extra knowledge to
students regarding current trends in that field
 Keep their knowledge updated .
 Encourage students to learn foreign language.
 More practicals and interactive teaching than lectures.
 The internet should be used more extensively
 Online web based interactive tools, ,Project based learning
Experimentation should be encouraged
Proposed solution(cont)
.
 Attract multinationals into investing in India’s economy. Increase
trustworthiness of Indian economy.
 Entrepreneurship skills of individuals should be exploited so that not they
are employed but they generate employment in the process.
 Ventures such as National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC)
should be organized at micro level to enrich the soft skills and promote
better communication among individuals.
 A proper directive training must be imparted to every individual in
respective fields.
 Money should not be a barrier in anyone’s education so new scholarships
must be introduced to widen its reach.
 Employment exchanges should be fully operational
 Government run training institutes should be started to impart free training
to economically weak sections.
 Corporation schools should be taken over by private institutes and funded
by the government to upgrade its quality.
 An education system should produce human resource in varied domains
and not just the one’s which are industry hotspots
 Special cells should be created to keep watch over the absolute
implementation of Right to education.
 There should be universities which produce world class batch of teachers
year after year as currently there is a great shortage of dedicated teachers.
 NGO’s and CSR activities by multinationals can play a vital role on
spreading awareness about education and imparting them.
 The student to teacher ratio at present needs to be brought down.
 On top of all MERIT should be taken into consideration along with the
economic conditions and all other grounds be ignored.
Proposed solution(cont)
Implementation of the solution
 Larger share of GDP to education sector
 More scholarships be generated for economically backward class
 Institutes should be setup which would give all sort of training to an
individual to make him employable
 There should be tie up with international universities to give students
global exposure
 Also, special scholarships must be given to encourage higher education
 Quality education institutes should be set up
 Teaching should be made a lucrative career option to encourage talent to
creep in.
 Schooling is today a costly affair . It is therefore essential to start schools
on grounds of navodaya vidhyalayas, doon school so that everyone has
open access to them by clearing certain exams.
Enthusiastic teachers required for creation seamless educational
content that will be offered free of cost over the internet.
Researchers and software developers for developing new methods
of teaching and interactive software tools.
Lab equipment for practical demonstrations.
Financial and human resources required at
each step
Proposed source of funding
NGO’s dedicated towards free education for all.
Government sanctions.
Advantages
 When we have individuals with updated knowledge of
current technology then there is no question of them
remaining unemployed.
 Economy will bloom if this scenario prevails.
 Growth of individuals would thus be growth of nation.
 Teaching and learning is a symbiotic process and this
scenario would go perfectly if the techniques are
implemented.
 It can also be a source of income for the government at a
later stage
Barriers
“MONEY” is a major barrier as a hefty amount would be
needed to generate money for scholarships , infrastructure ,
etc. though its virtually investment at large.
 The number of Quality teachers built up by training is
uncertain.
Criteria followed
 Proper entrance tests must be designed for selection of
most eligible candidates both students and teachers
 Infrastructure of new schools should be readied and they
should be started
 Old corporation schools must be run under private
machinery
 Along with academics all round development of
candidates must be kept in consideration.
 Investing is though higher but it would be an asset for
India in the long run.
