LEMINEX laminates offers some of finest high pressure and compact laminates. And is a pioneer of
luxurylaminatesintheworldespeciallyEuropeandAsia.Itwasstartedin1978.Itwasfoundedonthe
idea that a laminate is much more than an invisible background. It is a resilient, flexible product that
has unlimited poten al in surface décor. LEMINEX not only reinvented the way laminates looked,
but also the way people look at laminates. LEMINEX gave the laminate a complete makeover with
finishes and colours like never before. Suddenly the laminate were no longer just an economical,
hard‐wearing countertop. LEMINEX created laminates that had texture, unparalleled designs and
mostimportantly;character.
LEMINEX featured rich, luxurious designs that added aesthe c value to interiors. They weren't just
productsmadeforarchitects,interiordesignersandend‐users,butmadeincollabora onwiththem.

Each LEMINEX laminate is designed to deliver excep onal style and quality. Our laminates are
manufactured at world‐class facili es equipped with imported machinery from Italy. Products are
created with imported design papers made from highly stable and resistant pigments which
guarantee longevity and ensure that the product looks great a er years of wear and tear. Our
high pressure laminates are available in over 600 designs, 40 realis c textures and 3 sizes (8x4,
10x4, 12x6).
Leminex Exterior Cladding
Leminex High Pressure laminate (HPL) panels have a decora ve Surface that is suitable for exteriors.
Special quality resins provide extremely effec ve weather protec on to external facades. These HPL
are produced in lamina on presses under high pressure and temperature . They are resistant to180°
colour fading and weather proof with special protec on against inclement weather according to
standard EN 438:2005part6
Production
Leminex exterior cladding panels consist of lengths of natural fiber ‐ about 65% of the weight ‐ and
synthe cresins.Thepanelsdonotcontainorganichologen(chlorine,fluorine,bromineetc.)
Compounds, such as occur in propellant gases or PVC. They contain neither asbestos nor wood
preserva ves (fungicide, pes cide etc.) and are free from sulphur, mercury and cadmium. The

5. Exterior Cladding Fixing Method
The lap Sliding Fixing Method has the advantage of being a very a rac ve system of panel fixing. With pre‐fabricated Leminex
Exterior Cladding panels for the lap slidings. It is easy to design robust and modern facades. Besides the regular advantages of

1.Preparingthesubstructure
LeminexExteriorlapslidingpanelsareinstalledusingmoun ngclipsfixedtoasub‐structureofver calwoodenslats.
eachslatmustbeatleast50mmwidewheretwopanelsjointoallowenoughspacefortwomoun ngclipssidebyside.Thegap
betweeneachslatshouldnotexceed500mmasapplicabletolowbuildingofupto8mmheight.
The panels are installed star ng from the bo om. First of all, fit a horizontal base bar. Now fit the first row of moun ng clips so
theyrestonthebar.Makesureyoufit2moun ngclipsateachver caljointbetweenpanels.
2.Installingthefirstrowpanels
Place the groove along the lower edge of the Leminex Exterior lap sliding panels into the moun ng clips. Secure the panels in
place by fixing moun ng clips along the lap edge of each panel. The panel above overlaps the first row of panels by
approximately 25 mm. Fit a screw next to the lap middle moun ng clip on each panel. This is designed to stop the sideways
shi ingofpanels
3.Ver calJoints
A slot for fixing the moun ng clips must be located at each ver cal joint. Two moun ng clips, one either side of the joint, are
needed to providethe necessary hold. Pleaseuse proper backingstripsto sealthe ver cal Joint betweencladding panels.If the
siding elements are arranged so the ver cal Joints are offset then it is sufficient to install the panels plus backing strip using of
single moun ng clip. If the ver cal Joints are in a line then two moun ng clips need to be used. There must be a gap of at least 8
mmbetweenthepanelsatthejoint.
4.Outsidecorners/Insidecornerswithmitre
LeminexExteriorlapslidingpanelscanbemitredforbothoutsideandinsidecorners.Outsidecorners:Thelapedgeofthepanel
must be 12 mm shorter than the lower edge of the panel must be 12 mm shorter than the top edge of the panel (regardless of
thepanelwidth)
The mitred edges must have a chamfer. The sub structure needs to be protected with a plas c sheet to prevent water entering.
Elements can be installed on both outside and inside corners using a variety of shapes of corner profile. In this case the panels
arecuttosizewithoutamitre.Pleasemakesurethereisagapofatleast5mmbetweeneachpanelandthecornerprofile.
5.Installingthetoprowofpanels
Secure the top row of panels by fi ng screws along the top edge of each panels. Use screw with painted heads to match the
colorofthepanels.asusedfortheinstalla onoffull‐sizedleminexexteriorcladdingpanels.
