F rom its humble beginnings as a small Computer training institute at Connaught Place in Delhi, IEC has evolved into an
international success story in the field of education-operating in several countries with an investment over 250 Crores. Thanks to

IEC Group’s tryst with education dates back to 1981 when Mr. R.L Gupta laid the foundation of his dream project India Education Center,
although it plunged into the formal education sector much later in 1999 by setting up IEC College of Engineering & Technology through

Vocational Education Foundation is a non profit society founded in 1989 to
provide relevant and reliable education across India.
It began its work with an illiteracy elimination campaign in the districts of Ghaziabad, Mathura, Hisar and Sonepat, conducting
around 120 vocational programs and benefiting 5000 villagers. A decade later, in 1999, VEF stepped into the formal sector of
education and set up IEC College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida. Since then it has set many other Colleges in different

15. Admission Regulation
Admission shall be done on the basis of merit, providing for reservations in accordance with the rules. The merit shall be determined by
the marks obtained by the candidates in JEE/ AIEEE / other notified entrance examination / marks in qualifying examination.
Candidates, who do not have JEE/ AIEEE / other notified entrance examination rank must have clearly passed 10+2 level examination or
its equivalent from any recognized Board/ University; securing minimum 55% marks . Relaxation of 5% marks may be given to SC/ST
candidates.
Candidates who have passed three years Engg. Diploma/ three years B.Sc. degree with mathematics from a recognised Institution with
minimum 60% marks in any branch of Engineering are eligible for admission to Second year.
For admission in First year of other Under-Graduate programmes, the candidate must have clearly passed Higher Secondary School
/intermediate examination or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University; securing minimum 55%
marks in grand total.
