I am an assistant professor at the Amsterdam University Medical Center (UMC). Previously I was a postdoctoral researcher at ZBW - Leibniz Information Centre for Economics. I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer and Control Engineering at the Dept. of Control and Computer Engineering of Politecnico di Torino, where I also graduated as a computer engineer. I am currently working in the field of artificial intelligence applied to medicine. During my Ph.D. program, I have also collaborated with Telecom Italia Joint Open Lab. My professional interests include artificial intelligence, recommender systems, machine learning and knowledge graphs.
