COLORADO STATE UNIVERSITY-PUEBLO (CO) SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
Freshmen during Fall 2014 at CSU-Pueblo who meet two of the three minimum
academic requirements based on a completed application will have the choice of one
of the following undergraduate scholarships. No other application required. The
scholarships are renewable for up to three additional years if student maintains the
required minimum renewable grade point average.
Presidential Scholar receives $8,000 per year with a 4.0 GPA, 30 ACT/1340 SAT, and 3.75 GPA
required to renew. Distinguished Scholar receives $5,000 per year with a 3.75 GPA, 27 ACT/1220
SAT, and 3.5 GPA required to renew. Promising Scholar receives $2,500 per year with a 4.5 GPA,
25 ACT/1150 SAT, and 3.5 GPA required to renew. Welcome to the Pack receives $1,000 per year
with a 3.2 GPA, 22 ACT/1030 SAT, and 3.2 GPA required to renew.
For Freshman, Transfer, and Graduate Students, the International Access Grant can be obtained if
the student has the eligibility requirements:
1. Must have a minimum incoming GPA of 3.0 on the American scale
2. Be in-status by IMMIGRATION LAW with F-1 Visa
3. Must attend orientation
If you do meet the requirements above you will obtain per year:
$2000/year of international access grant
$2000/year of on campus employment
The Intl. Grant is available for the consecutive Fall and Spring semesters (no grant in summer).
Freshman can obtain both of these scholarships, if he/she meets the requirements.

2. DREXEL (PA) GLOBAL SCHOLARS SCHOLARSHIP
Drexel Global Scholars offers incoming international freshmen the opportunity to
apply for a full-tuition scholarship. This award will go to a limited number of
students with strong academic credentials as well as considerable
accomplishments outside of the classroom, such as community service and
extracurricular activities.

LONGWOOD UNIVERSITY (VA) MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
Longwood is pleased to offer merit-based scholarships of $2,000-$6,000 to
qualified applicants. No separate application is required. We offer rolling
admissions with a preferred application deadline of mid-June for students
applying for Fall semester.

4. COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY (CO) PLANS TO OPEN
BRIDGEPATHWAYS CENTER
Colorado Mesa University plans to open a BridgePathways center on its
campus in Grand Junction this summer. The university commits to
providing international students with the tools they will need to succeed in
their education and cultural experience at a U.S. experience. BridgePathways will provide CMU's
international students with the added advantage of an intensive academic English curriculum that is
designed to prepare students for university assignments. BridgePathways at CMU will have six
start dates throughout the year, offering 8-week terms, and conditional admission to the university
will be available to qualified students.
Colorado Mesa University, located in the beautiful high-desert country of western Colorado, offers
more than 60 undergraduate majors and has extensive options for international students both in and
out of the classroom.

PENN STATE LAW'S (PA) SUMMER ARBITRATION WORKSHOP
This summer lawyers and law students trained outside of the U.S. can
study international arbitration law at Penn State Law. Taught by arbitration
scholar and expert Professor Thomas Carbonneau, “Arbitration
Workshop – Legal Counselling in International Arbitration” will run from June 30 to July 11. Students
who complete the Arbitration Workshop will learn the terms and concepts of arbitration law and will
practice applying the law through mock transactional experiences. This 3-credit course, primarily
clinical in character, will introduce students to an international commercial venture involving
construction or the sale of goods.
