SIENNA HEIGHTS UNIVERSITY (MI) MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIPS
Sienna Heights University's most selective scholarship, the Trustee Full Tuition
Scholarship, offers up to three awards to high school seniors who display
academic excellence. The Trustee Scholarship covers the cost of a full-time
tuition, with the recipients responsible for all fees, and room and board costs. To
be eligible, applicants must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.
Students offered this scholarship are not eligible for any other Sienna Heights
scholarships.

PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY (KS) HONORS COLLEGE
SCHOLARSHIP
Pittsburg State University is now accepting applications for the Honors
College scholarship program for the Fall 2014 intake. The primary
mission of the Honors College is to provide a more meaningful
educational experience for select superior students.
• Presidential Award: $9,500 per year for four years plus a one-time Study Abroad Stipend up to
$2,000 for a total four year package of $40,000.
• University Award : $4,500 per year for four years plus a one-time Study Abroad Stipend up to
$2,000 for a total four year package of $20,000.

2. SPRINGFIELD COLLEGE (MA) INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
For more than a century, Springfield College has been a leader in providing a
broad and balanced educational experience. Humanics, the philosophy that has
inspired Springfield College from its beginning, calls for educating the whole
person—spirit, mind, and body—for leadership in service to others.
International undergraduate and transfer applicants are eligible for the Springfield
College President’s Achievers Award. Students qualifying for this merit scholarship may be
awarded $6,000 to $14,000 per year. Students are automatically considered for a scholarship
upon admission. International students may also qualify for a yearly travel stipend of up to $1500,

3. COLLEGE OF STATEN ISLAND (NY) OFFERING CONDITIONAL
ADMISSION FOR GRADUATE STUDENTS
College of Staten Island of the City University of New York is offering
conditional admission to the applicants interested in the following master’s degree programs:
Cinema and Media Studies (MA), Education (MSEd), English (MA), History (MA), Liberal Studies
(MA), Mental Health Counseling (MA – Fall admission only), Neuroscience, Mental Retardation, and
Developmental Disabilities (MS) and Nursing (MS).
Conditional admission is available to applicants who at the time of application do not have a proof
of English language proficiency but are otherwise admissible to the college.
English language proficiency requirement must be met by successful completion of the English
Language Institute (CSI Institutional paper-based TOEFL score of min. 550 or min. 600 for the
Master's in Mental Health Counseling Program).

UNIVERSITY OF IDAHO (ID) HOSTS HIGH TECH STEM SUMMER CAMP
FOR TRIBAL YOUTH
For three weeks this summer, 24 members of the Coeur d’Alene and
Spokane tribes are connecting with their Native American heritage
through Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education at
Back to the Earth camp (BTTE). July 29-Aug. 1, fourth through sixth grade tribal members will be at
University of Idaho Coeur d’Alene for the final week of Back to the Earth Camp. BTTE brings
scientists, STEM educators, tribal leaders and students together to explore environmental and
cultural issues. The program provides STEM-rich afterschool and summer programs for students in
grades four through six on the Coeur d’Alene and Spokane reservations.

4. CHATHAM UNIVERSITY (PA) OFFERING AN MA IN GREEN CHEMISTRY
Starting fall 2014, Chatham offers a Master of Science in Green
Chemistry, the first program of its kind in the United States. Focused on
delivering a truly unique educational experience for students with undergraduate degrees in
biochemistry, biology, and chemistry, the M.S. in Green Chemistry program will delve into the design
of products and processes that minimize the use and generation of hazardous substances.
Graduates of the program will hold a competitive advantage over students from other chemistry
programs that claim "green chemistry" as a departmental mission, as Chatham's program
courses were developed specifically for the practice of green chemistry.
