Low confidence
governing your behavior based on what other people think.
Staying in ours comfort zone, fearing of failure and so avoiding taking risks .
some points are;
“ I can’t find happiness.” this is the paradox that confuses even smartest people. You need
to learn how to set yourself up so that success and happiness find you.
”life has nothing more to offer me.” this statement is another mistake that people
make. It is a mistake because the statement is inside-out in reverse.
Instead it should read:” what do I have to offer life?”

this can be a problem if it makes you believe that you can
do anything-even if you don’t have the necessary skills, abilities
and knowledge to do it well.in such situations over confidence
leads to failure

11. self Esteem:
confidence is a measure of Faith in one's own abilities & Esteem is about our sense of self .
It involves both thoughts and emotions and influences how we perceive others and interact with the world. When
children have healthy self esteem , they tend to be confident . Similarly if a child have a negative self view which is
often the case for learners with underdiagnosed learning difficulties it can cause them to lack of confidence in
classroom activities particularly in class tasks.
Difference between self confidence and self esteem?
For school age children an unorganized learning difficulty can leave serious consequences.
Moreover it quiet often produces feelings of frustration , anxiety and anger.
That's why it's critical for parents and teachers of children to focus on enhancing student's
self esteem.

confidence is about knowing what we can and can't do and trusting in our abilities. Children who are self
confident may be more willing to take on challenges as well as to take responsibility for their actions . They
can experience failure with confidence

that involve literacy skill, earning poor mark on assignments and
receiving negative feedback from teachers

14. What is lack of Confidence?
Lack of confidence means you are afraid to take risks on tasks
That you want to do and you get paralyzed by the fear and anxiety when faced with
things.
Some reasons of lack of confidence:
 Unhappy childhood where parents (or other significant people
such as teachers) were extremely critical.
 Poor academic performance in school resulting in a lack of
confidence.
 Ongoing stressful life event such as financial trouble or relationship
breakdown.

• Consider where you want to be and where you are now.
• Look at what you have already achieved and think about your strengths.
• Set goals and develop the skills you need.
• Accept compliment gracefully.
• Take pride in yourself.
