This panel is designed to be a transparent look inside the evolution
of a successful coaching practice. All of the coaches on this panel
have created businesses that meet and exceed the aspirations of
our member coaches. They have agreed to reveal the inside secrets
to exactly how they build their businesses, revealing where and how
they got started, what they did, and what it looks like to have a
successful business. They are here to share their insights openly
and in service.
About Our Panel:
Karen Davis: Whether she’s climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with her
son, fundraising for a girl’s school in Tanzania, or leading a team of
volunteers for the National Business Marketing Association, Karen
believes in giving LIFE her all. She brings this same spirit of
leadership, inspiration, and passion to her coaching.
David Firth: David is a Global Organizational Development Expert;
author of the forthcoming books “Change Your Organization One

closely held companies to Fortune 500, publicly-traded companies,
where she has received recognition for her achievements in
mentoring individuals and teams to achieve their goals.
Rudy Miick: Rudy’s work is grounded in the fast paced, highly
volatile world of restaurants, hotels, and resort startups, growth,
and ongoing high performance. This field of expertise translates to
maximizing performance in any business that considers themselves
in the service industry, even more to those owning “the experience
economy.”
Barb Wade: Barb is a world-class expert at teaching entrepreneurs,
coaches, trainers, and mentors the exact strategies to make more
money more easily while enjoying a business and lifestyle that are
built around their top priorities. She firmly believes that one of the
biggest benefits of running your own business is that it allows you
the freedom and flexibility for what’s most important to you!
Stephen McGhee: Stephen is at the forefront of mind-opening new
directions in leadership. For the past 25 years, he has guided
business executives and influential leaders across the globe, to go

Glen Cooper
I have coached, appraised and/or sold over 500 businesses in 36 years!
I even sold my own large business brokerage firm in Maine in 2010,
returned to my native Colorado, and now am a solo-practitioner business
broker/business coach. I serve on the Board of Directors of the Colorado
Association of Business Intermediaries (CABI) and am an active Member of
ICF / Colorado.
Being a veteran business broker AND a business coach gives me a one-of-
a-kind currency that seems to be rare. I am also an author, teacher,
seminar/webinar presenter, workshop facilitator and frequent speaker on
small business issues.

Membership in the ICF Colorado: New Member Sponsors Needed
As the Membership Director, it is my hope that new members are welcomed into our Chapter and
8. quickly find a home in our "family." To ensure this happening well, we are starting an experiment
called New Member Sponsors. A new member sponsor is someone who has been in the Chapter for
perhaps a year or more who will help welcome a new member and make sure they become
integrated into the life of the Chapter. For the first few months, the sponsor will befriend the new
member, become acquainted, introduce him or her to others in the Chapter, explain the various
benefits and programs of the Chapter, and perhaps have coffee or lunch with the person.
If you have been a member of our Chapter for a year or more, please consider becoming a New
Member Sponsor. It is a four-month commitment to make friends with someone and ensure that
they become actively involved in the Chapter. You will be provided with some orientation and
suggestions on how to best sponsor someone. Please contact Walt Hastings to express your
interest in welcoming new members. Call Walt at 303-526-9490 or e-mail him at
walthastings@hotmail.com.
