Falcks Integrationsudfordring

   system

 Men Master for kundedata var en 21-årig DB2 mainframe
med en ”broget” integrationshistorik. Generel holdning:

                               6

    Kampagnesystem ”Kundesystem” DB2 Mainframe
Falcks Integrationsudfordring

 Salesforce = Integration via web services

 Falcks Mainframe var ikke webenabled

 Begrænset erfaring med webservices hos Mainframe
   leverandør

                             8

   systemer

 Krav til hastighed (selve integrationen)

 Krav til ”time to market” (opsætning af integration)

  Krav til pris

  Krav til anbefaling

  Krav til POC

                                9

   kriterier Falck havde opstillet)

  Prismæssigt konkurrencedygtigt

 POC (Proof of Concept) blev det afgørende punkt

                              10
POC (Proof of Concept)

 Falck opstillede 4 integrationsscenarier (fokus på at
integrere data mellem Saleforce og DB2 Mainframe inkl.
   data validering)

 Repræsentanter for Cast Iron, Salesforce og Falck blev
lukket inde i et mødelokale i to dage

 Real time til databasetabeller (eventbaseret)

 Near real time fra skyggetabeller (pull)

 On Demand (fra databasetabeller, view only)

 Udfordringer
 Finde alle relevante valideringer i Mainframen og få
dem implementeret i Salesforce eller Cast Iron

 Interne sikkerhedsregler i relation til Cast Iron

  Mips forbrug

  Adgang til ressourcer

                               16
Forventninger

    mainframe ind i skyen

    eksperter

 3. Mange integrationstyper kan håndteres af det samme
    integrationsværktøj (Cast Iron)

 4. Essentielt med en overbevisende POC

 5. Undervurder aldrig en integration

                             18
