- 11. 11 Bettendorf Local Roads – Advance Work • Eliminate the State Street to Gilbert Street Diagonal Connection ▫ Original design closed State Street for the new I-74 piers ▫ New piers not constructed, so State Street can stay open ▫ Diagonal connection is no longer needed for staging ▫ Land occupied by the connection could become developable ▫ State Street will need patching and/or resurfacing ▫ Ownership of State Street will transfer to the City

- 19. 19 Bettendorf Local Roads – Key Issues • Calvert Drive to Remain Open Until I-74 Built ▫ If closed, traffic exiting businesses north of Mississippi Blvd on 14th Street would need to detour north to Central then back on 15th Street to access the downtown ▫ Existing traffic on Calvert Drive is light, however a detour may cause confusion for drivers • Parking ▫ Some parking lot spaces will be lost ▫ There is the potential to gain some spaces along State Street.

This is a parcel that is possibly a total acquisition
