House the Homeless, Inc. is calling for a universal living wage and is holding a protest on Tax Day, April 15th at 8am at the Post Office at 9th and Congress. They believe that if employers paid fair living wages, taxpayers could see reduced taxes from fewer people needing food stamps, Temporary Aid to Needy Families, General Assistance, and the Earned Income Tax Credit. Richard R. Troxell of House the Homeless, Inc. invites people to attend the protest and bring a friend.
