5. Adding a picture or photo as the background to a slide can be very
effective.

6. If you find an
interesting image
that you would like
to use, but it’s in
portrait – you can
add it to one side of
the slide, and then
keep the other side
black or white.

7. The
SIZE
of your text can make a difference too.
Most guides do not recommend a font size of less
than 24.
You may be presenting the most interesting information in the
world, but if the people at the back can’t read it then it’s pointless.

8. COLOUR
can also make a big difference to your
presentation.

9. It’s also generally
recommended to have
one point per slide.

10. This stops your slides from looking too over-crowded with
information, as well as being easier for your audience to take in.

11. YES, these slides look pretty.
But creating them probably takes longer
than more standard presentations.
