3. Latifa Soobedar
Latifa obtained her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of
Stellenbosch in South Africa and has been a registered Clinical Psychologist since
1997. She has run four successful practices in Cape Town, South Africa before
moving to the UAE 9 years ago. Twelve years of experience in clinical practice gave
her invaluable experience in all areas of psychology including clinical assessments
and therapy. She was further involved in Psychology based training for various
Corporate Organizations in South Africa during that time. She is the founder of
Corporate Wellness and has designed and implemented EAP (Employee Assistance
Programs) for Organizations within the UAE and South Africa. She has been
conducting Assessments and Training for various organizations in the UAE since her
relocation. She is also the founder and co-coordinator of a Relief Team which
provides Psycho-social support in disaster affected regions-and is fully trained and
experienced in trauma counselling and management which are very beneficial to the
EAP programmes globally.
