two major POD with total 570 well for Area-6 and 758 wells for Area-7. The Area-6 has
been successfully approved by GOI and Area-7 was on finalizing approval with GOI.
Infill Bypass Oil in Mature Steam flood
Initiate and lead pilot project to improve and add production in super mature steamflood
through infill drilling in bypass oil area. A unique and comprehensive evaluation method is
developing to locate the high remaining oil area and placing the well effectively to drain un-
swept area. Deliver 14 wells and have been proven produce more than predicted. Through
this approach, about another 70 well have been identified for future development.
Steamflood Faulted Area Optimization Project
Lead faulted area optimization project through infill drilling and steam injection efficiency.
Project was initiate to respond of lacking producer on faulted area that has high risk to
eruption potential on steamflood operation. Propose 18 wells to complete pattern and
balancing injection to producing fluid that prevent buildup pressure in reservoir.
Steamflood Drainage Improvement Project
Lead and initiate steamflood drainages review and located the opportunity improvement on
pattern recovery through completion evaluation, steam target and heat evaluation, pattern
configuration evaluation and geological barier evaluation. This project deliver
Step Out / Delineation Project
Mentor project manager to develop proper project frame to capture undevelop opportunity
outside current oil water contact boundary.
Lead evaluation effort on subsurface (geological and geophysical) evaluation on
determining remaining oil position and placed delinated wells. Deliver 6 wells and have
been approve by GOI for vertical and directional well.
Ligh Oil Tertiary Development Feasibility Study
Evaluate geologic visibility Tertiary dev project on Surfactant & Polymer Flooding Project
for Minas Field. As dev geologist, I working on finalize target area, and give input team
about geological evaluation using data log, seismic and combine with core data. Determine
special core analysis that procedure on evaluating core injection surfactant and polymer test
at lab scale and determine petrophysical aspect of area target for flooding. Support related
log data on creating model geologic, determine residual oil from log and core for target area
Cased hole Hole Log evaluation:
Conduct evaluation and enhancement of implementation cased hole technology on acquire
Sw calculation and saturation change study on old well using CHFR tool and Case Hole
Density Neutron combine with real production data. This evaluation were utilize on
evaluating pattern water flood management and daily work over strategy for about 250
wells.
Special Core Analysis for new reservoir evaluation
Develop special core analysis program on evaluating possibility water flood project on
particular sand. Conduct evaluation on petrology, facies, mineralogy, pore throat
distribution, relative permeability, movable oil and also critical velocity injection test. Use
lab data and integrate with log data to develop calculation saturation method and use for
whole well evaluation. Mitigate economic risk by asses all potential movable oil on sand
through data core, and give information for further prospect for particular sand. Develop
OOIP and reserve calculation using all combinable data core and log. “Telisa sand” shaly
sand formation study resulting mitigate possible lost of investment about 3 M US$ and
narrowing potential reserve “X-sand” thin laminated shaly sand from 12 MMBO to 1.8
MMBO; reduce potential lost 2 M US$.

Water Flood Optimization Project;
evaluate performance each pattern and develop screening pattern water flood selection or
further development. Develop geological evaluation for un efficient sweep efficiency for
some pattern, develop alternative for development. Together with Petroleum Engineer
perform monitoring injection efficiency base on production performance.

Propose new candidate well and provide evaluation on Structure map, isopach oil map,
isopach sand, Stratigraphic evaluation and reserve calculation and economic calculation.
Project was creating to develop some new well base on structural and stratigraphic trap.
Deliver 30 wells drilled with average performance 150 MMBO reserve/well
Received “President Award” for this project.
Areal Sweep Efficiency project:
Core team for strategic improvement sweep efficiency waterflood on Minas field. Provide
best location for trail base on structure, fault interpretation, sand continuity evaluation by
using seismic and log data. Conduct geological post drilling review for further information
project evaluation. Evaluation result use to change all the waterflood project strategy on
adding wells on pattern waterflood from 7 spot inverted to 13 spot inverted pattern
waterflood. Deliver 72 well on going drilling
This project was acknowledged with “World Class Reward”.
Insitu Profile Modification project:
Provide field wide geologic evaluation for proper locations to be use for pilot polymer
injection on maximize oil recovery. Conduct screening best candidate pattern for water
blocking field test.
