ACUC
ACUC is the leader in providing reciprocity, education and
information exchange for university based clubs throughout the
world.
Current The Association of College and University Clubs (ACUC) is a
non-profit organization of campus-based clubs located throughout
Members North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Established in 1978, the
Association creates global awareness of the services provided by
Prospective university clubs in their role as campus hosts. As hospitality
providers, university clubs promote collegiality, social interaction and
Members enhanced communication among members of academic and
professional communities.
Reciprocal Nearly 100 clubs worldwide participate in the Association’s
Clubs reciprocity program, facilitating academic interaction by opening their
doors to club members visiting from other campuses. ACUC
Newsletter promotes excellence in club management through educational
programs, newsletters and networking opportunities. The ACUC
Annual Conference is now held concurrently with the Club Managers
Association of America (CMAA) World Conference & Exposition.
Every even year, beginning in July 2006, a summer workshop program
will be held at a North American university, providing professional
seminars, roundtables, and networking opportunities for club
representatives.
The Association encourages continuing education for club
employees with the annual presentation of the Shrader Scholarship,
and sponsors the Gina Friend Award to recognize selected
representatives for outstanding volunteer service to the Association.
